The Coppice Road Allotments Association was formed in 1999 by the plot holder tenants of the Coppice Road allotment site in Poynton, Cheshire. UK. It has the following aims:
• Improving and maintaining the facilities on the site for the benefit of all,
• Encouraging good allotment gardening practice,
• Publicising the pleasures and benefits of allotment gardening,
• Promoting the value and perception of allotments as community assets,
• Providing a representative body in dealings with other groups, public bodies, and the wider public.
